The jewelry is the result of adapting a centuries-old hand-gilding technique to a new medium – jewelry.
Using an intricate process, the gold or silver leaf is burnished by hand in multiple layers. Images are applied to the surface through a proprietary technique, and small flecks of gold or silver leaf are applied over the image to give it our signature vintage look.
These flecks of leaf will adhere to different parts of the jewelry each time, making every piece a one-of-a-kind work of art. After each layer of leafing, we use a sealing process that protects and enhances the jewelry’s surface. For some designs, Swarovski crystal elements are added for extra sparkle and light.
